Skin Testing Appointments
When will I be skin tested? How long will it take?
A skin test will usually be performed in your appointment, taking about 30 minutes out of your initial appointment.
If you cannot have a skin test performed at your initial appointment, skin testing can be preformed at your Returning Patient appointment.
Why do I need to be skin tested?
The skin test is used to determine if you have environmental allergies, or if there is a suspected food allergy.
What do I need to wear?
When you come in for your skin testing appointment, please wear appropriate clothing. You will be asked to remove your top, therefore do not wear a one piece outfit.
